Consultation: Speak with one of our scoliosis specialists to understand your condition and discuss your concerns.
Examination: A physical spinal assessment to check for curvature, alignment and mobility. Includes the Fleming Functional Score
LiDAR Scan: A non-invasive 3D body scan for accurate posture and spinal mapping.
Detailed Posture & Scoliosis Assessment: Comprehensive review of your spinal curve and posture patterns.
X-ray (Only if appropriate): We offer advanced imaging with in-house digital x-ray. With decades of experience we have created a low-dose x-ray protocol.
Results: We explain findings clearly at a follow-up, giving you a clear plan for next steps. For those travelling from afar, same-day results are possible. Our recommendations can include exercise therapy such as Schroth therapy, ScoliBalance or SpineGym, gentle manual therapy for pain and stiffness and occasionally a supportive corset to maximise results.
Brace Scan: If bracing is appropriate, your custom design is started as soon as you consent. The first step is to 3D scan your torso.
No Waiting List: We move fast — because time matters in scoliosis care.

Lucy came to us with a 38° thoracic curve. With early intervention and consistent brace use supported by ScoliBalance therapy, her curve improved to under 30°. She avoided the surgical path that her consultant had initially anticipated.

Tom was embarrassed to wear a brace at school. We worked closely with his parents and teachers, ensuring his brace fit invisibly under his uniform. His posture improved dramatically within six months. He’s now one of our most enthusiastic success stories.

After a delayed referral, Ella’s curve reached 45°. Her parents reached out after reading our eBook. Within weeks of starting with us, she had her brace fitted and began ScoliBalance sessions. Six months later, her curve measured 34° and her pain had significantly reduced.
When we say we specialise, we mean scoliosis and degenerative spinal conditions isn’t one of many things we treat; it’s what we do.
Every team member is specifically trained to work with patients who have spinal curves with or without degeneration. That focus means better assessments, faster decisions, and more effective outcomes.
We don’t just manage symptoms. We work to improve your spinal health.
Yes, many adults achieve significant pain reduction, improved posture, and increased mobility through specialist-guided corsets, targeted exercise, and corrective therapy.
Our approach is focused on stabilising posture, reducing pain and improving daily function, often avoiding the need for surgical intervention.
The unique therapeutic intervention prescribed to each patient is formulated from our diagnostic protocols and considers the limitations on your quality of life and your goals. The decision is ultimately yours as to whether you proceed with some or all of our recommendations, and they can be introduced in steps to build your trust and allow your body to adapt to each therapy.
Some people benefit from a series of BESPOKE exercises that suit their spinal patterns, others benefit more from manual therapy or a specially designed corset. We will outline a programme that suits your problems and your goals, but the ultimate decision to proceed is down to you!
This is EXACTLY what our programmes are for!!
Our protocols are built for complex, overlapping spinal conditions common in adults. Every plan considers arthritis, nerve compression and degenerative changes to maximise your safety, comfort and results, coordinating care as required with other specialists.
A large proportion of our patients have spinal stenosis!
Standard physiotherapy and general pain management may help short-term symptoms but are rarely scoliosis-specific. The Dorsi Method approaches adult scoliosis with specialist assessments, 3D custom corsets, and tailored SpineGym and Schroth rehabilitation; all designed specifically to address curve progression and spinal imbalance; targeting the root cause, not just the symptoms.
We tailor our programmes to suit your presenting complaints, your spinal patterns, the presence of degeneration and your lifestyle goals.
Research shows that generic exercise does not work. The only effective management of degenerative spinal conditions is a BESPOKE PROGRAMME that is unique to you!
Modern bracing is now designed to help adults with degenerative or progressive scoliosis.
ScoliBrace supports spinal alignment, reduces pain, and can improve confidence and daily activity. The designers consider which tissues are irritated, then offload and decompress your spine, providing relief and reducing the irritation and inflammation that leads to degenerative change.
Many adult patients experience significant relief and better posture with a properly designed corset. In-fact our adult corset service is so fast growing that it is due to overtake our children's practice this year.
THIS MONTH ONLY: Your first full consultation, assessment, and 3D scan is from £179. But spaces are limited and only available if booked online. Price varies depending on clinic chosen.
Once we outline a treatment programme it is your decision whether you proceed. If you are close to our clinics in Nottingham or Marylebone London you can attend the day clinic. If you live further afield we can arrange an intensive programme that spans 3, 5 or 10 days. Sessions cost £49 for treatment and £66 PayAsYouGo for rehabilitation sessions such as Schroth and ScoliBalance, but we also have payment plans that can considerably reduce costs.
If a corset is recommended, we offer flexible payment options, with many people choosing to spread the cost monthly with a 0% interest plan. Depending on the terms that you choose, the average cost is £99-129 per month. Treatment programmes can be combined for one simple monthly 0% interest payment.
** If you meet the criteria you may be eligible for a 50% discount on the cost of a 3D Corset provided by a government backed WMHTIA grant.
Your Corset prescription is individualised.
Many adults use corsets part-time, for specific activities or periods of daily movement. The goal is to support and retrain, not restrict. Your plan will be tailored to your lifestyle, comfort, and goals.
Helping you get maximum benefit with practical wear. It is usually paired with daily gentle SpineGym or Schroth exercises to re-write your muscle memory and postural blueprint.
While every case is unique, many adults notice improved comfort and movement within weeks of starting a tailored programme. Significant improvements in pain, balance, and function are typically seen over six to twelve weeks, with continued progress as your plan adapts over time.
The initial 'active therapy phase' is usualy six to nine months, in which time you will usually start with treatment to improve your symptoms and improve spinal mobility; which prepares you to start your functional rehab programme with simple and gentle SpineGym or Schroth exercises.
If a corset is prescribed we would only 3D scan your spine once it is flexible enough to benefit from the gentle corrective forces of the corset. The Right Care At The Right Time Is Critical. You usually wear the corset for a six month therapy phase; after which it acts like a retainer and can be used part-time, for specific activities or periods of the day. The goal is to support and retrain, not restrict. Your plan will be tailored to your lifestyle, comfort, and goals.
